Description:

We are Velvet Groove Band, based in Bloomington, Il . We have, individually or collectively, played at venues all over the state and, in Jim Blands case, nationally. We perform primarily 50s-60s material, in addition to Country & Blues from that same era (Song list reproduced below).
Our usual fee is $350 - $1500 for a 4 hr. performance. This depends on distance traveled outside Bloomington/Normal, and is of course negotiable.

Velvet Grove was such a refreshing show. Unlike most of our bands geared for the young ones, Velvet Groove was awesome for our old folk too. But yes, we had many young ones out jammin to their music. Dont hesitate to book Velvet Groove. Looking forward to booking you again!
